Clarice Cliff and Charlotte Rhead

Clarice Cliff and Charlotte Rhead were two of the most famous ceramic designers of the 20th century in the Art Deco period. Clarice Cliff developed the Bizarre and Bonjour range for Newport pottery with their bright and bold designs and Charlotte Rhead was an important designer for both Woods & Sons and Bursleyware introducing a tubelined design and lustre glaze on her ceramics.
